Yep. It doesn’t matter when you are gone, I would prefer cremation. Just the thought of being in a box in the ground.

I hope it is not the result of aerial explosives. Once had that possibility daily and it was not as exciting as you would think.

Don’t think it will matter to me what my wife does with my body. But as we continue to lose more and more valuable real estate to cemetery companies, the days of mandatory cremation will eventually come to pass. How many people actually visit a certain grave after the decedent has been buried for a hundred years? Not much use to keep putting boxes in the ground that only contain rotten and decayed bodies. The average time for an embalmed body to decay is one year. Why do we insist on keeping them? Maybe we should just shoot all our dead bodies into deep space.

have me cremated and put my ashes in a wooden box on the floor of the closet. When she needs something from the top shelf, she's going to use my Box as a step stool. She says, "At least that way, I'll get some use out of you."
