My opinion about the FRFF

Apr 15, 2014, 2:52 PM

I know that some of you may disagree, but I think what Dabo is doing here is awesome. I can say with pride that our coach does what's right, and doesn't put winning a football game first. FRFF can say whatever they want, but I will always be backing Dabo 100%

I don't want to sell my soul to the Devil to win more games like some teams are doing. Dabo has the program and the kids going in the right direction.

There's something in these hills.

Freedom from Religion is just a political ploy. They are out

there to turn red states into blue by destroying religion so people want vote based on their values, etc. This is the type of group you would find in a 1930's Socialist Germany or 1920's Communist Russia. It is the last group you should find in a country open to ALL kinds, all beliefs, and all political backgrounds. Why do they even exist? They have now targeted Clemson. Sorry comrades but you are messing with the South and you are messing with the Bible Belt. Wisconsin might embrace you but not South Carolina.

Behind BYU and Bob Jones…

We also have the largest FCA chapter in the nation, which I know does not mean we are all Republican, but it shows how we are different from most colleges

follow the Bible. That's why divorce rates are much higher down south, than other parts of the country.

I doubt you would have that belief if he was reading verses from Quran. He is a state employee and he needs to keep his religion separate from his football coaching. On his own time he can talk about and read whatever he likes but it ends when he gets to work. The football field of a state institution is nor more an appropriate place for a baptism than is a public school classroom.

I would agree with you if he
was forcing it onto the athletes
instead of just encouraging
them. I go to Charleston Southern,
a very conservative Southern Baptist
school, and we are forced to go to
worship services. We have to have gone
to a certain amount by the end of our senior
year to receive our degree. I don't mind because
I'm a youth ministry major and everything,
but if a person makes a choice to decide
on something that will change their way of
life forever, then why wait?

Why not? Why must people hide their true selves to

Apr 15, 2014, 3:35 PM [ in reply to Re: My opinion about the FRFF ]

adhere to policy? If you are a Christian or a Jew or a unbeliever then what is the attempt to hide and take away a part of someone? Be you. Serve others with respect but also share with them to learn about them and their differences, etc.

The state should have no claim on their individual beliefs or styles of work. YES there should be a division between church and state in terms of service rendered or collected but what these folks want is more--the elimination of all religion except for the secular religion of the state--political correctness--which is the root of the problem since that religion is often at odds to most of the other major religions of the world.

You cannot split Dabo. That is part of his great style. Such strict separation of anything like this is an cancer to freedom on many levels and is a new phenomenon in the US that is disturbing and uncalled for.
