I haven't worn actual shoes since about February, so I'm torn on getting a pair.
But if kindergartners like them, the may be something to them.

on. They get wet and left in the yard a lot and haven't started stinking too bad. Blue cupcake frosting won't stain the canvas if you use a little baking soda and a wire brush to scrub it out.

Have a pair, pretty comfy, don't think they are that hot but my white tube socks that I wear with them soak up any sweat
Prior to that I had a pair of Magellan (Academy brand) knock offs that my friends would call "yo bros".

or any shoes such as these. If i am being forced to where shoes, then it will be real shoes for a specific reason (like work, wedding or funeral). Anything below that footwear requirement threshhold will be flops or bare feet.

I was just wonderin' because of the ad that popped up on Tnet.
My heels have turned into that gnarly thick as leather, cracked and crazed up, and I have perm grocery store feet from going barefoot. I prob should wear shoes.
I have 3 pairs of Olukai flops that pretty much round out my sring, summer and fall footwear. I have the old, do work in pair, the not quite as old and run errands in pair, and the 3 week old special occasion wearing version.
