My final say on QB controversy..

at the worse late in the season, Cade should have been inserted at start of the 4th qtr at ND (down 28 & over) & in the SC game (DJ sputtering)..so he could play consecutive series to get up to speed and gain needed on-field experience.
At a minimum that playing time in SC game might have made it possible that the Nation's longest home win streak going back to 2016 AND the possible 8-peat would have be obtained!
Who knows so move on~

I’m moving on. Love Clemson and looking forward to watching our Tigers beat someone’s tail in the Orange Bowl.
However, all this mess would die down if Dabo could find a path just to admit something like “hey, I might have screwed up on this one y’all. Sorry we lost the Scar game. That one is on me. Yea, a lot of things went sideways in that game but I acknowledge if I had let Cade play and if he even completed 50% of his passes vs. the 28% for DJ, it would have helped open up the run game, they would have had to defend the pass play as a legit threat and our defense would have been more effective not having to go back on the field after all the quick offensive possessions. I wish I had done that differently now, after seeing how Cade performed when given an opportunity.”
Sorry if I’m petty but coot losses that didn’t need to happen are hard to get over when no one will be accountable.

You forget that Cade sucked in the ND game. Clemson's problems go far beyond the qb position

Cade was put in pinned back on the 5 yard line. After which he was promptly removed. How can you say he sucked?
