I'll give you my guess at the Power 5 conference winners. I don't want to try and guess the playoffs because I doubt any of them will go undefeated.

Good picks, though LSU will win the SEC this year.

One thing, the ACC or Pac 12 rep will have to win them all and look great in every game based on what their reps did last year in the playoff. Perception is everything.

Teams. OSU and TCU are sitting pretty with other teams in their conference not up to snuff yet. SEC champ is a lock. (AL.Auburn.Texam.Uga) That Notre dame and Clemson as other teams with real potential to grab that last spot. I will say TCU.OSU.Texas am.Clemson clemson v TCU in first round in fiesta.Osu vs texam in first round in orange. Clemson vs. Osu in Nat title....osu wins....clemson returns next year and beats usc after usc beats auburn in cotton and clemson beats notre dame in peach. By the way...steve spurrier resigns after back to back losing seasons.

> Substitute Auburn for Georgia, and I think you've got > it.
A lotta flawed-looking teams in what is looking like a very down SEC this year. Bama and Auburn are both breaking in new QB's. I'll go WAY out on a limb and say Tennessee shocks everybody and wins the east and Arkansas pulls a shocker in the West...and both have enough losses, and are unconvincing enough, that neither makes the playoffs. At some point the nation's going to notice the SEC doesn't play anybody OOC and that none of their teams is particularly dominant right now. A two-loss SEC champ won't make it in and I suspect nobody makes it out of the SEC jumble next year with less than that...because while I see no dominant teams, I do see 13-14 teams that can beat any of the others on any given Saturday.
TCU returns basically everybody from a team that lost once last year, and the Big 12 is terrible aside from them and Baylor. Pencil them in.
Ohio State is the lone superpower in the B1G and they return most everybody. Pencil them in too.
Southern Cal is probably the class of the Pac 12 this next year. They had a very, very talented young core of players they get back and Oregon, while still strong, doesn't look quite as menacing without Mariota...and they still haven't figured out that defense thingee anyhow.
I do think the door is wide open for Clemson in 2015...even with one loss. Even with those two bodybag games at the front of our schedule - sorry, that is embarassing - we still have good OOC games against Notre Dame and South Carolina and we get Georgia Tech and UNC from the Coastal, both of whom seem likely to be bowl teams again this year.
Do I think we make it? 50/50. Let's see if the injury bug visits us again this year.

As Dabo says the most important game on the schedule is the next game. FOCUS one game at a time.
