I got a pup this year, and he will eat ANYTHING

Feb 7, 2014, 2:54 PM

I leave him with. He has eaten every pillow/bed/blanket I have ever put in his crate with him. He even ate a KONG! I didn't even know those could be destroyed, but he chewed it into little rubber pellets and ate them.

The only two things he hasn't been able to destroy/eat are a nylabone and deer antlers.

I'm scared to leave him a bed or pillow b/c I'm worried he's gonna eat the stuffing and get a fatal blockage

Better start an obstruction fund

Feb 7, 2014, 3:00 PM

That's a fairly expensive surgery. We have an emergency pet fund to cover unexpected pet expenses. Anyway, towels and plastic bags are two of the main culprits when Dr.DeadAnimals was working on live animals.

Our little dog Otis swallow anything that hits the floor and decides if it was actually food once it hits his stomach.

Where are the pics?!

And get the black Kong (racist) if he's a good chewer.

We took away Cole's nylabones because they were chipping his teeth (check your pup's), but Cole loves him deer antlers.

The black kong and these rubber ring things that I got at

Feb 7, 2014, 3:13 PM

Academy are the only things Wyatt has been unable to destroy. Nylabone actually did last a couple of weeks, though.

Putting peanut butter in the Kong makes me feel uneasy, though. Maybe I should be using something other than my finger.

Feb 7, 2014, 2:15 PM

You know good and well those can be used for small children too.

ringofhonor-rhtig.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Any truth to the rumor that Shorty sleeps in one of these?

Feb 7, 2014, 2:16 PM

Also, I'm going to try and sell this to Dr.DeadAnimals as a baby bed that can be transformed into a dog bed. Heck, I'm saving money buying one of these.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Those are pretty cool.

Feb 7, 2014, 2:35 PM

Cole doesn't like the beds with walls like that. He likes to half lay on his bed and half lay on the ground.

Same here, except it is sometimes 10% on bed 90% on floor***

Here's 0.001% bed, 99.999% floor.
