Anyone can sell ice to Eskimos if they lower the price far enough. It's called dripping in the industry, and it's basically what Muscoot does. He lowers his standards and offers 500 kids for 25 spots, including a bunch of transfers. Then, when he gets a couple of okay prospects and a bunch of garbage, he acts like he's conquered the world. Really he's just sold an SEC scholarship for pennies on the dollar. In the business world, he would have been fired already.

If he doesn't take the coots to the glory land within the next couple of years, he may find himself selling ice to the Eskimos on a full time basis. He may be good at selling ice to the Eskimos but, apparently, the best high school football players in South Carolina are not Eskimos or have no need for ice.

Yes, Muscrap is recruiting Jucos, second and third rated players to Usuck. It obviously isn't going entirely well when you miss out on a majority of South Carolina players who feel your program has so little to offer.
If their fans have hope for a decent season this year I cannot get wait for the letdown. The 2018 campaign may be worse due to no depth and the loss of seniors, and they play a cream puff slate of non-conference foes!
