Much Appreciation for Notre Dame

Nov 7, 2022, 9:21 PM

Despite the terrible game Saturday Notre Dame is a special place. The campus was beautiful. The Stadium is one of the best in college football hands down and is better than many NFL stadiums. No Commercials, no ads (other than small NBC Sports on jumbo tron). I commend the university. It was a great feeling not to hear this or that on corporate sponsors. It was all about Notre Dame and that is how it should be.

I have much respect for Notre Dame. They are a class act and can see why they have been so successful over the years. Fans were nice, no negatives other than how Tigers played.

No disrespect but I’m not sure what nfl stadiums you’ve been to for you to say ND is way better than many nfl stadiums. I didn’t think it was very loud to be honest.

The campus and fans were nice.
The stadium was unimpressive.

Not even a “professor of the game?”

That is incredible.

There's something in these hills.

Not sure which game you went to

The fans were mostly azzzhats. I heard you suck so many times walking to the stadium it lost its meaning. At half time some loser came up and clapped right in my buddy's face. The people in my section talked sheet the whole game. They're not as bad as cack or jawja fans but are on par with LSU. And the blow out didn't bring it out of em they acted the same way in Arlington before the playoff game at Jerry's world.

I was at the game and that was not my experience. I was not impressed with the campus, stadium, or fans. None of it was bad. I was just not that impressed. All of the Notre Dame hype must have had me expecting more I guess.

I’m not sure why people get their panties in a wad over ads

I guess they don’t want us to be able to compete financially with other P5 schools. ND doesn’t have to advertise because they’re rich. Their endowment is almost $20 Billion while ours is just over 1. We have 2.5 times more students but they have a 20 times larger endowment. For comparison 0310 state, at over 60K students, has an endowment that’s 1/3rd of ND’s. When you have don’t-give-an-F money you do what you want.
