How come our BPI didn’t go up ??

I mean come on ? After such a glorious win ?! Are they still hung up on us dropping a few real early ? Is it not true it’s not how you start, but how you finish ? This thing is rigged.

No clue why but while a nice win this Duke team is. not a powerhouse like in years bast. A good solid team but not elite

Duke is not elite, yet. Let's see what status they achieve when they get Roach back & and the frosh grow up about mid to late February. Lots of talent on the floor for the Devils and some of it still ripening. Last night was a Quad 1 win for the Tigers.
The loss to LUC in Atlanta (Sister Jean's team) is still an issue to correct for the Tigers. WF will be very tough in W-S and not a lot of "gimmes" in upcoming weeks. Hoping the team can get full input from the big hitters starting 1/17 to make us a very 'tough out'.

Agree.

We'll be heavy favorite 4 of the next 5. Maybe just a small favorite at wake. But fla st, bc, ga tech should be easy games. VA tech being a home game should be a little closer.

I think years ago Cliff Ellis put it succinctly. Clemson was winning and he was asked why the ACC was so "down" in basketball. He said "the real reason you say the ACC is 'down' in basketball is because Clemson is doing well." Whatever props we have ever gotten in football, it is more than made up for by the hose jobs we get in basketball, including the tournament, because everyone accepts the idea that Clemson just does not belong, therefore 65% of every 50/50 call goes to Clemson opponent, unless it is crucial and involves tobacco road and it is more like 100%.

The loss to Loyola and the Loss to SC are causing this low BPI

We all knew when those happened .. it would be something we would have to fight through
