Monte's exactly right & Line-up

UL is a solid team throughout and the team knows what a series win could do for positioning in the post-season. We have a great team and in the right placing w/ 4 solid starting pitchers - can make a serious run. Just got to get the bats cranked back up. Monte is right on the money when he was stating that one double down the line clearing the ducks on the pond - taking the lead in a game - the nerves will be gone. This late in the season, if we are able to get that mojo back in the bats, are dangerous.

My other thought, if Pinder is not going to be at lead-off, why not try Rohlman? Sure you want him in more RBI-ops but those will come with line-up turn over. He is great at getting deep in counts and knows how to hit the ball where the hole is. Just a thought. We need Williams back catching at 100%.

Go Tigers!! Let's do what we do best!! Win with our backs against the wall!!! Let's unleash the fury on those (not as trashy)birds today.

There are a few , nay...quite a lot of TNetters who'd shamelessly disagree with you . Read any of yesterday's posts and threads during and after the game ?
Apparently this Monte Lee fella can't put together a de ent line up , Seth Beer has completely lost the ability to hit a baseball , our relief pitchers are throwing beach balls and we'll never make it out of the rehional round ...even if we drag up in there by the barest margins .
LoL , I feel like we are fine and will play well when it counts ...but what do I know .

Monte's lineup was just fine yesterday. He made all the right moves with how he handled the 3rd base situation and pinch hitting. I don't get why people on here think we need lineup changes. No matter who comes up, they're not getting big hits. It's not a certain spot in the order. It's everybody. It just comes down to the players at this point. There is nothing else to try

When we were a bubble team to make it to the tourney and our program was basically in shambles? Now we're a solid top 10 team, hosting a regional, fighting to host a super... and people aren't happy? Unreal.

I think everyone is happy. It's more so concerned with how things have been lately. It's not the losing, it's how we are losing that is getting to some people. Including myself. We absolutely should not be in the spot we are in now though. Last years team shouldn't have won 44 games either. Overachieving has set a higher standard for sure
