Is there a way to keep mobile site automatically being used when I come to this board via iPhone? Would prefer normal site.

Try a third party browser like chrome.

Board Settings -> Settings tab -> Under change password is a check box for "Disable Mobile Site"

Works like a champ for me

Before I knew about the setting I'd figured out there was a way to link to a post entry on the board and once you logged in if you navigated to the bookmarked post it would be the normal non-mobile site. Form there you could (at the time) navigate the board normally.

It was much easier once I discovered the setting
