The articles clearly refute Darwin's THEORY. Maybe you are the one who needs to read more than just one book.

The biology books you read at Clemson did not contain the latest knowledge on the the human genome and dna. It is evolving daily, and certainly has evolved since Darwin wrote his book over a hundred years ago. He knew nothing about DNA and a whole host of scientific information that has been discovered since. Relying on Darwin for information on DNA and the human genome is like referring to a handbook on how to program a computer by reading a manual on a 50 year old calulator.

Didn't know that.
(I'm guessing he wasn't talking about the show. Which, I might actually believe was created by the devil. Burn!)

Not for everybody. Nevertheless an excellent read. It's refreshing to see a biological basis for creationism.

What is the biological basis for human conciousness? There's probably a Nobel Prize for the person who can explain that.

Evidence For The Design Of Life ? Ans: Taste Buds
Feb 1, 2013, 8:11 AM

Why would anything that evovled care if you enjoyed the "taste" of something else? Taste does not identify poison or even distinguish harmful from the needed.
I always love the idea that plants knew there was a "breeze" or a "bee" that would carry pollen to another on the other side of a field as well.

Because things that tend to taste sweet contain sugar, which is vital for energy. Things that taste bitter are usually bad for you, like poison (which IS one reason why we have taste buds. Read a book besides the Bible).

PETER BORGER????? Please, the guy is a Respiratory Pharmacist who lied about his credentials (claimed to be on the science Faculty at the University of Sydney, who never heard of him and sued him about lying about it) to publish a piece of rubbish. Real scientists in Genetics have debunked this clown so often they cuss if you mention his name.

Sugar is fine in moderation. It's when you have people eating nothing but sugary junk foods that it becomes a problem. Sugar is the what our body uses for fuel.
I thought this was taught in elementary school health class.

Proteins and carbohydrates are the primary fuel for the human body. These are broken down into glucose, yes, but foods that are great sources of protein and carbohydrates are not sweet.
I wouldn't tell an elementary school health class that sugar is good for them. "Fine in moderation" does not mean "good for you."

When you are a hunter/gatherer and you don't have a ready suppply of food, getting calorie dense foods makes nutritional sense.
This is basic stuff. If you're interested in learning more about evolutionary theory I'd suggest auditing a class on it.

What ever caused a taste bud to be? Because something bitter might be poison, but something sweet might be needed fuel for the body?
LOL at that. How would it know?

Uh, the taste bud itself doesn't "know." You see, there are these things called nerves that relay the information to the brain.
Seriously, pick up a biology book or two.

There are these things called nerves? Really?
Feb 1, 2013, 11:11 AM
|

Dang... well how did they know?
While we are at it, please explain how anything could evolve to "see" or "hear"? Did the brains evolve first, knowing there were these "things"? But wait, how would it survive w/o the ability to kow the difference between fuel and poison to begin with?
The whole idea that humans evolved, with all of the dangers involved, and adapted to survive to light and sound -because there were things [it] needed to protect itself from....well, ok. I can see how it people believe that.

Survival of the fittest. The organisms that preceded humans adapted to understand the difference between things beneficial to them and things that were harmful. Those that were exposed to harmful things died, and the others lived. This is the basic explanation of evolution.
As for eyes, this article at Wikipedia is a good introduction. It is all referenced and annotated.

Respectfully, we agree to disagree.

Wekipedia does not provide the answer...nor is it found in the "theory" of evolution - which obviously had to be experienced over a wide range of life forms simultaneously or, at the very least, separatly and independent one from the other.
And all to suit the "needs" of each particular species...

By disagree, I assume you mean you choose to remain ignorant to facts backed up by mountains of evidence.
But hey, it's a free country.

creationists want it to be. There are varying degrees of photosensitive cells.
A random cluster of these provides a slight competitive advantage.
There actually are really good explanations for it, but I doubt you'd read it if I linked it.

None here, Borger is a liar(ask the University of Sydney) and not qualified as a pharmacist to discuss genetics. Real geneticists cuss when they hear his name.
