Miller and Golson question

Anyone think having DW4 redshirt next year and bring in Braxton Miller or Everett Golson would be a good move?

I don't see it happening and don't believe I would be for it, but having an experienced QB with a recovering DW4 as backup might be nice, just to make sure DW is completely 100% when he returns. This option instead of hoping DW4 stays healthy and not having to play Nick S., or one of the two true freshman.

Just wondering if anyone else has thought about this and has a thought.

Because our coaches are way too loyal for that. Plus I'd take Watson over either of those two guys. There's literally not a college player I would trade for Watson.

I agree. Wouldn't trade him for anyone, just if there was a chance he wouldn't be 100% by the first game.

I'd love that move. Rent one of them out for a year to let 4 rehab his knee and put on some more muscle. Golson being from South Carolina would be more likely IMO, the kid just needs a fresh start. If he can cut down the turnovers it'd be perfect for us and him.

If Spencer Shuey is anywhere near campus Braxton Miller would never come within 50 miles of Clemson. I'm sure he still has nightmares about Spencer.

I would easily take Miller.


I don't want anything to do with Golson as IMO he's mediocre at best and is a product of the media's love affair with everything Irish.
