Absolutely. I’ll take a southern team over a big 10 team almost every time. Exceptions would be SC and GA. Also when I was a little kid I was a Bama and Bear Bryant fan before I knew anything about Clemson. Unfortunately, in the 1960s and early 70s Clemson was rarely on the 3 tv channels we got in the rural lowcountry. The only southern teams we got to see much was Bama and GA. Everything else was big 10 or PAC 10 or ND. I didn’t know anything about Clemson until I was in high school. Then I attended Clemson and it was all over for me. Tiger for life from that point forward.
