just had to laugh.using bo schembeckler to inspire is a joke.he was a myth-never won a natty,and his bowl record was 5-12.the only reason he gets recognition is that he was at michigan.

forgot to add that michigan has had only 2 nattys,1948 and 1997.neither of which was won under schembeckler,so michigan fb itself is a myth.

I cannot stand Michigan, but I must say that was fairly entertaining and well put together.

Mostly, I kind of liked old Bo. Pretty fine record (except in bowls & the NO Natty thing).

He did, however, steal or modify that famous line from Gen. Douglas MacArthur. MacArthur's famous last speech before cadets at West Point said basically that when his final minutes came, the last thoughts in his mind would be - "The Corps; The Corps; The Corps.."

Bo borrowed it years later & changed it to - "The team...the team...the TEAM!"

My daughter and I will be driving to Michigan for a wedding near Petroskey on Oct. 5. We will make a stop at Notre Dame, Michigan State and Michigan. Plan to amble over to Pittsburgh to make a stop at Carnegie/Mellon. The Army sent me to school there during WW2 when it was known as Carnegie Tech. Univ. pf Pittsburgh is just down the street from Carnegie/Mellon.

Have a supply of Tiger Paws, Clemson decals and a Clemson auto flag which will be flown while driving through the campus of each school. The bride is a grad of St. Mary's at Notre Dame as was her sister. Her sister married a ND grad. Two of her brothers went to Illinois and the other brother went to The Citadel. Their Dad went to Florida and their Mother to FSU so it's a mixed up family, school wise.
