I don’t see the chaos honestly. UGA gets in over Bama because, quite frankly one win by 3 pts doesn’t eliminate a seasons worth of film. Bama literally needed a miracle JUST LAST WEEK to beat a .500 Auburn team. And don’t forget they beat A&M and Arkansas (zzzzzzzzz) by a combined 7 points. Also, getting throttled at home by Texas gives the committee yet another reason to leave them out.
It was a good win for Bama last night but in my opinion they would’ve needed a blowout win AND an FSU loss to get in along with a Michigan or Washington loss because ain’t no way you can justify Bama in but not Texas. I think committee should leave them both out.
Georgia isn’t the same team from last year BUT they went undefeated in the regular season and their resume is solid. The close loss yesterday deserves to knock them down to #4 but that’s it.
All this said, I would absolutely not be surprised to see the committee go Mich, Wash, Texas, Bama/UGA. If a conference is gonna get screwed it’ll be the ACC, not the SEC. If that happens, and if the ACC were to sit back and take it, FSU and Clemson should both immediately announce their exit from the conference—would seem like they’d have the clear ammo needed to prove direct harm as a result of the ACC affiliation and incompetence at that point.

As much as I like you're thinking on this, no way UGA gets in. The Dawgs would have needed losses by FSU and Michigan last night to have any shot. I do think there is the very real possibility that FSU gets left out at the expense of putting Bama in.
