Met Cole Stoudt on Friday by chance

My family and I were on the way to Helen, GA for the weekend and I wanted the kids to see Death Valley because they have never been to a game. I wasnt sure exactly what parking lot to go to but ended up pulling into the West End Zone parking lot. As we were sitting in the van checking out the stadium Cole Stoudt walked out of the parking lot. I started saying "kids that's the starting Clemson QB!" I rolled down the window and he walked right up and I had a chance to introduce myself. He was cool and was in no hurry to go in and stood there ready to talk. It caught me off guard and I didnt know what to say...so finally I just told him good luck this season. My wife and I then started kicking ourselves for not asking to get a picture of him with the kids/me or whatever. Wasted opportunity but still fun to meet him. Oh, the wife is a big fan of his now. She knew who Tajh Boyd was but had never seen Cole Stoudt.

yep he is a very nice young man. his sister once went to a school my daughter taught at. we talked about that more than football

Man..I take pics everywhere I go with either my trusty "on-my-hip" cell phone OR camera (what are they?).

You could have had the Little Lady & Kids lined uP with the future Heisman or NC QB..from CLEMSON!

LOL..but glad you met Cole. Still, I'm "following" you to see IF you ever do something stupid like that again.

LOL, you cannot imagine how stupid we felt after pulling away and not getting a picture! I think he expected it but I froze up and didnt ask! My wife said she didnt think of it and then we were kicking ourselves the rest of the afternoon for not getting a pic! To make things worse I even had a football in the back he could have signed.....

Very true! That was my first trip to Helen, GA and I just wanted to the kids to see the stadium before their first Tiger Game which will be the first home game this year.
