With all of the coach firings so far this year, does the OU administration make the dumb move of saying this is not working and cut him loose after the season? The Sooners clearly have major issues on defense and could be looking at a 7-5 or 6-6 season. Do they give Brent the chance to right the ship and build the defense properly? I sure hope so but dumber things have happened.

They won't give him a minimum of 3 seasons with this level of performance. But they'll give him more than this year. I'd say this year, he's safe but will start next season with a hot seat.
