Memories

Jun 5, 2013, 7:43 AM

I went to the office yesterday expecting the worse from my coot co-workers concerning their "great BB team" and our problems. They have always taken any chance to give me hell over any small coot victory. Surprise, they were too busy to harass me. Finally I had waited long enough and started to brag about the apparently great start to our recruiting year; thinking that would get them started and get it over with. They just smiled.

Then it hit me; they are now getting used to winning, just like I used to be. When they would brag about their women's track team, I would give them a little knowing smile. Now they are smiling (or smirking).

The same thing happened over the weekend with my brother-in-law but yesterday I realized it isn't just him but coots in general. I hate this; hate it, hate it, hate it. Let's wipe the smirk off their faces.

and won't. I can assure you that behind those smiles and smirks lies a certain amount of self-doubt, which is always typical of those who think that they've won a war after a few victorious battles.

Thus, my recommendation: steady as you go!

Dude, just wear LSU gear.

Getting beat by Auburn twice since Clemson has beat them twice has gotta cause insecurities not to mention Ellis Johnson as their new DC. Sadly, this is the best two years in USC's history of gridiron.

Think about it - - Best two years in over a century.
