yeah.... those comments about Patterson are the ones at the end of the year that should free up scholarships. You can only pat someone on the buttocks so long before getting tired of crap on your hands.

Yeah that's about as blunt as you'll get from Dabo.

I’m not sure you can blame a few guys for having the offense on the field for 5 or 6 minutes in a thirty minute half. There are ways to control a clock in football. Making first downs always seems to work. Great defense helps s lot too! I ain’t a coach and I know that to be factual!

Have a feeling Covil Jr is gonna transfer had such high hopes for that kid as an absolute head hunter. Wouldn’t be surprised to hear his name a lot wherever he ends up.

I miss the in person interviews after practice. More back and forth. I think 8 minutes is a new record low for any Dabo interview. Hope we get back on track Saturday.

If he talks to much then he needs to stop talking and if he doesn’t talk enough it’s also a problem

That was a strange interview. Dabo's comments were totally out of the norm for him.

I agree. Almost somber or worried. He’s never been that reserved and short.

Personally, I like it

Less is more…… Particularly right now.
I would can the championship/several plays away talk as well.
I understand why he uses the press to get messages to his players; however, I would stop overly praising unproven players
Either he’s feeling the stress of the situation or someone has told him to be very mindful of what he says
Again, I like it. Much more Saban-like without being a jerk in the reponses. Kirby-like actually

Wish he would have handled the entire preseason this way instead of cranking the hype machine on any and every person or personnel group that existed.

Maybe this is him getting his edge back?

He’s pissed off and ready to go prove something in the field instead of trying to hype everyone up. By now everyone should know if Dabo is talking about you non-stop, you’re not meeting expectation and need to step it up. Every person he mentions in the spring, fall, and season always is terrible come game day. I wish people would stop asking about Randall, he’s a bust and if stellato is better then he needs the snaps not Randall.

The play on the field is saying it all

Agree with those who believe less is more in Coach Swinney's mandatory interviews -- clearly Dabo is smartly throttling down the spin.
