It's not an error, it's the FDA rounding rules for products

with <50 Calories. Government math isn't supposed to make sense.

Products with <5 Cals rounds down to zero and 5 or above

Sep 20, 2022, 8:36 PM

rounds to the nearest 5 Cal increment. So, if this product has 4 actual Calories per serving, that rounds to zero, but 8 per two servings rounds to 10.

So if they can measure it close enough to round it, why not

Sep 21, 2022, 2:20 AM

state the actual number? Governmental insanity?

Who eats a 2k diet any way? If you are, you aren’t doing it right. The percentages are so arbitrary too. My body needs at least 85-90g protein a day, which would be like 200% intake on a label. Same with fat. I think like 60g is recommended, but ####, I need about 90-100. It’s all so dependent on your size your lifestyle.

I like Pam cooking spray

Sep 20, 2022, 9:02 PM [ in reply to It's not an error, it's the FDA rounding rules for products ]

Calories per serving are zero. Zero fat. All zero.

Serving size is a 1/4 SECOND spray. 763 servings per container. Lol.

Who the #### sprays 1/4 second of Pam on a skillet anyway?

Same way tic tacs are labelled as "sugar free" and

Sep 21, 2022, 9:26 AM

"zero calories". Because the serving size is under some minimum threshold of the FDA even though they are like 99% sugar.
