I've got a decent spray and deterrent rotation going. we'll see if it lasts through the fall.
we need the county to let us hunt em. I have easily, easily 5 dozen does in a 25-30 acre area over by me.

That's out of control. NC and Meck do population control hunts. I think in Meck a controlled hunt on the nature preserves are done annually.

Right now as I type this, there are two bucks sitting on my couch watching the FBCoachSC® episode of the Jerry Springer Show, one doe taking a dump in the upstairs bathroom, another doe rambling through the refrigerator trying to pick a yogurt flavor, and a small herd on the front porch passing around what appears to be joint. I did refuse another buck when he asked to borrow my car to run down to the store for cigarettes but I'm sure he'll be back to ask again soon. They're annoyingly persistent.

Last controlled hunt here, where they paid pros to cull the herd, was 2010.
The bleeding hearts have won the debate since then and they are growing undeterred. It’s bad.

it was actually HILARIOUS....STORY TIIME:
- I shot nice 8 pt buck in designated area to hunt
- 2 neighbor bros come by and help me track this deer down

- she comes out: Are you guys hunting back here?!?! You can't do that, I have a toddler.
> Us: ma'am, no, we're not hunting, we're scouting. and we all have toddlers.
- her: scouting for what?

show cops letter from gov, our hunting license all this. cop goes, yeah she's called us 3 other times for another type of hunting that's allowed by where she lives. you guys are fine.

They b!tch all day about how their flowers, etc. are getting eaten, but on the other hand they like looking at them and are scared of getting shot by hunters. Supposedly we're getting a quote from a 'population control specialist' who will hunt them with a crossbow, but of course there's only certain times per day those neighbors would be happy with that.
