Only concern is how long they would stay esp looking at Rumph’s resume. At the same time, he is from SC so has ties to the state and likely family close by.

Even if they only lasted a couple of seasons, as long as they helped stabilize our situation and kind of got the momentum back headed in the right direction, I think we could live with it.

I mean is this any different than Riley? I don't think we expected him to be a long term hire either.

I get your point but you can't look at it that way. You have to keep recruiting every year. Just going to have to do the same thing when hiring coaches. Keep putting the best options on staff and make sure the recruits know that. Can't dip into the inexperienced pool for multiple positions at the same time again.

Alabama Saban seems to maintain success with the big turnover he has with assistants. It’s feasible with Dabo and Clemson as well.
