I really am pulling for WF. Mentioned in another thread that I was worried about LSU winning it all. Thankfully they have used Skenes so he is out for this game.

Wake all the way!!! This is the only sport where they will be relevant in today's world. I grew up near there and went to several games with friends and it would be nice to see them win something

Wake is relevant in golf and soccer also. Pretty relevant in football too. Sure felt like it last October during all 4 quarters and BOTH overtimes.

and should be the favorite to come out of this side. If LSU happens to make the championship series though, they will practically start with a 1 game advantage because of how ridiculously good Skeans is. He was still hitting 100 in the 8th inning Saturday and he's averaging something stupid like 16 or 17 Ks per 9.

Sad the ump has 2 strikes for. Wake isn't getting anything on the edge and lsu are getting strikes 2 inches off the plate. Consistently showing bias.

I think it stinks that WF has to play LSU again. I thought they would have crossed brackets when it got to quaterfinals. Pretty sure softball crosses brackets at this point but could be wrong.

I really hope WF pulls this out but Skenes has been very impressive. I hope after going so late in game only 4days ago, he will lose his stuff earlier and the bull pen has to go to work, fingers crossed.
