LSU blew out

Towson North Texas Idaho Washington ( good team they blew out and Wash. lost to Wash. State) Miss State (good team but Ole Miss beat Miss State just as bad)
They Beat Auburn by 2 South Carolina by 2 Tex Am by 5 Ole Miss by 6 Arkansas by 7
All were good wins, but Ole miss, Arkansas and Auburn not overly impressive.
They lost to Florida by 8 while scoring 6 points Alabama by 4 which was a good game byt LSU choked.
It will not be impossible. Again, not impressed with these games Towson State North Texas Idaho Auburn Ole Miss Arkansas Florida
I was somewhat impressed with their games vs Washington Miss State
Very impressed with their games vs South Carolina Alabama

if we get that Mettenburger we have a chance. If we get the one that played against Alabama, it will be a long night.

ole miss no matter how bad they are gives us a game and really no excuse for Ar-kansas other then Eric Ried forced that fumble and should have had the ball on 15. Our team had the wind knocked out of them after the Bama game and the Defense hasn't looked the same but i think christmas break will be much need off time after a long season.
but you weren't impressed with the ATM win?

I would add AM to the impressed part but I could see you guys from LSU looking at our sch. this way.
Not impressed Furman Duke WF Gt Maryland Boston College Va. Tech Auburn
Impressed
Ball ST. yes i said ball st. lol 1st 3 quarters of FSU game 1st quarter of the USC game
I think for one game you can sort of throw all of this out the window. The game will come down to whether we can move the football on Lsu D and if our D can make the plays they should have made. If we get those 3 ints the USC game we would have won it.

Arkansas was down by 10 in the 4th and their coach went for a FG on 4th and goal from the one. When they got the ball back they drove deep into LSU territory (like the 20 or something) but ran out of time because they were forced to go for a TD to tie instead of being able to kick a FG.

were about to draw first blood and fumbled on the one early in the game. No matter, I am just trying to make this game seem possible for us. You guys will be heavily favored as you should be.

You might be right, I mostly watched the second half. I thought Arkansas outplayed them though. They seem to find ways to win- unfortunately we find ways to lose.

Check out the Auburn/SCar wins

And you'll find LSU needed the ball 7 to 10 minutes longer to win by those 2 points. So, personally, that bodes well for Clemson ONLY if we have a way to keep the ball out of their hands - keeping it in ours.

You just identified one of the fundamentals of winning football games. LSU has proven it can effectively control the ball against elite competition. How does that bode well for Clemson?

Having the ball so long to win by 2 pts

Does not make for an intimidating offense. I'll give you that it means more plays and more 1st downs. But my point was simple - one key to winning is to KEEP ball balance as much as you can. That means be smart about play calling and making the sticks when more than the big plays.
