Louisville and UConn better fit for ACC

Jun 11, 2012, 9:20 PM

They are tolerable, mid-level football teams that have outstanding basketball, which is all the NC schools, UVa and Md want. But look at it this way, when FSU and VT leave, Clemson will be the dominant football team and a basketball resurgence will take place making winter in the upstate a more enjoyable time of year. No worries.

Bingo!

That is why Clemson need to run, not walk away from the ACC as fast as possible, even if that means Big 12. Otherwise, CU football will look a lot like it does now at Duke, Md, Wake. You get the picture.

Not true. NC schools, UVA, and UMD would love to

Jun 14, 2012, 3:47 PM

have Penn State, Michigan, and Ohio State if there was any chance they would leave the Big Ten.

Also, they would have taken WVU before Louisville.

Louisville is mostly a commuter college.
