TCI says there is going to be 4 opt outs but it's TCI so take it with a grain of salt. IDK who the other 3 are. Wiggins is definitely one.

But I can't think of 2 more guys that will opt out Mukuba? Maybe. Mickens is a senior so he might.

Unless Shipley is one of them (which would be a bad decision on his part honestly)

Ship had too many fumbles this season and ball security is definitely going to plague him on draft boards if he goes.

I'm gonna guess Trotter, Wiggins, Ruke, and Tyler Davis

I don't blame NFL bound player sitting out of a meaningless bowl. I'm sure it'd be different if it were the playoffs.

I'm mixed on this. I understand Trotter not wanting to risk injury and possibly millions of dollars. Then there are underclassmen who have covered the backend and rushed the line to help clear lanes for him to make plays. I can't speak as to how these players feel but I'd have to think about how much they've worked this year.

I certainly see your point, but how can it not happen with the way the landscape of college football has changed. Kids making school choices not based on coaching/fit, but how much NIL money they can get. Don't like your playing time? Jump in the portal.

Pandora's box was opened and there's no going back. I feel like most if not all would play if they were playing for a championship.

The portal gets a lot of flack but not those who leave early for the NFL. In the case of the NIL they're both based on money but one is wished good luck while the other is a pariah.
