HC at an SEC school that wins the NC to a mid to low tier ACC school that ain't won crap...ever. LOL to the max.

I think you under rate UNC a bit. He wasn't ready to be a head coach he will have a long career has a DC.

He won a national championship.
I think he was ready to be head coach, but he fell victim to the perfect storm of circumstances.
1. The resurgence of Bama. Historically, both teams are never on top at the same time. The two programs cannibalize each other in recruiting.
2. He lost his entire coaching staff after he won the championship.
