made offers to the people who withdrew. Just because people "withdraw from contention," that doesn't mean they were actually contenders. (And I say this as a devout Clemson fan who got sick and tired of Alabama's dominance - I found them just as boring to watch as the Belichick/Brady Patriots.)

a great coach. However, like Norvell, not sure about the fit at Bama. I'll never believe that was their first choice.
I think Lanning would've been a home run for Bama.
Sark was never leaving Austin --- that gig has the potential to be very special with all the resources.
Lane has his eye on another job...next year....
I think this year has only reinvigorated Dabo. Very excited abt the future....

UF. Now that he has matured a bit, he's a perfect fit.
Their sched next year is almost unfair. Brutal. Don't see BN surviving that.
UF is a sleeping giant as the Bear use to say. Now that they have their facilties up to par, all that is needed is the right leadership........

Lane Kiffin would be a perfect fit at Florida. And he would jump at the chance to revive the Gators..Sun-Belt Billy is in over his head. He will be fired b4 the season’s over imo.
