My take on Dabo and the portal

I support our coach. He has proven that he will make the tough decisions and fire long time friends if they fail to perform. When all the people complained that we didn’t offer ever kid in high school and that we were selective, we won two Nattys.

With all that being said Dabo has started to use the portal, but on limited basis and with specific needs. Have you looked at the some of these guys in the portal? They on their third team already. It shows either a lack of ability, coachability, integrity or discipline issues. I see the one year contracts now and it is disappointing. I will stand with Dabo and hope we get the right fit, if we do get portal players. Not every team heavy in the portal has had better success than us

There have been numerous reports to selective players being asked to visit. You do the homework and can learn how to read stories on Tigernet. Have a great day!

I understand his philosophy on building the program through HS recruiting. It would be nice to get a few needed positions filled through the portal. The main problem is how many players Clemson is losing to the portal. They are being replaced with inexperienced players.
