Let's talk about Crossfit a bit.

Do people ever leave? Can you just leave or do you have to 'jumped out' of CF like you would a gang?

I used to be okay with it's existence, now I'm just getting annoyed by people that do it and smug attitudes.

I suggest an outplanking maneuver.***

doing it.

I have a history of shoulder problems (I paid $40k for my left shoulder)

One problem is that the olympic lifts that they do require excellent form. When you fatigue, form is the first thing to go. With muscleheads egging you on, you are apt to keep going past your breaking point and do serious damage.

I have stuck to P90x so far, did a little insanity as well.

Dropped 30lbs so far.

them and know that I'd need a partner to really keep me honest about it. I think both of my shoulders are going to give me problems later. I quit going to the gym because I had discomfort when doing bench press, pain when doing incline and pain and loss of strength when doing military. I could also not reach across to my others shoulder with out pain. This seems to have gone away. My other shoulder only bothers me if I throw a football or baseball for too long.

use their dumb bells and pull up bars.

do the yoga and cardio at home.

I am not religious about it, but some is better than nothing.

The Insanity workouts are a little to "insane" for me, plus they are all home based and I dont have room in the house right now.

This is why I wouldn't do it. I dislocated my left

shoulder a few times in various ways. (The first was when I was doing a kettlebell lift while fatigued).

It's a good workout, but it's not the only good workout. I'd rather play a sport than do CF.

try it. The problem for me is, I used to do these with a friends years ago. She and her husbands are trainers and knew about the Crossfit website. They would post the WODs there and we would do the. They were fun, intense, and FREE.

But not you have to pay $150-$200/month to do something that was free and it drives me crazy.
