Let's look at Coach Swinney's record in big games. A "big game" being top 25, bowl game, championship game opponent, and South Carolina (because let's face it, that game is important).

That isn't a bad record, not great, but not bad. Dabo has taken us to just a couple of wins away from elite status.

No I'm not kidding. You can't expect to be much better than .500 against elite teams. I didn't say it was a great record. I said it was not bad.

Somebody needs to dig up this same stat for coaches past. I'm guessing Dabo has smoked EVERY former CU coach- maybe Danny's record was better? If a coach is close to .500 against ranked teams, that's good.

5 of those teams were unranked, and 5 were ranked 21-25. That's hardly elite. That's a bad record against that bunch, not horrible, but certainly bad.
