Let's get some Clemson talk in here

Oct 20, 2012, 7:18 PM

seriously our D stepped up when the one game we needed it in all categories our. Dline was getting penetration, our LBs played very solid football, and our secondary didn't allow a big play. Everyone that was ragging on Meeks, he defiantly showed up to play today with 2 picks one being a pick six. Still need to work on wrapping up but that will come with time (we have seen a steady improvement). Also CM was right, Sammy did step when the team need him too, he only got 84 yards but that was half the passing yards in the game.

Brad Brownell: more losses than any other coach in school history.

Shuey has a huge presence in the middle

I think he gives great energy, communicates with the Dline well

totally agree - that kid has earned a lot of respect in a short time.

Yep. D stepped up today. AND we really needed them today.

Tajh was not having his best day. If we can shore up the D line next year and put lots of pressure on the QB, I think the D could be great.

Yes, they did....looked a lot better than the first few games of the season.

Chokie fans can complain all they want about 'bad calls' but...we still pretty much held them in check - scoreboard perspective.

Still....we looked like we took a nap for two weeks overall. Hoping they get it together and destroy WF Thursday night.

How did that happen

Oct 20, 2012, 7:45 PM

Blank post blamed on iPhone. Anyway, if we can learn to tackle, and we do need to learn to tackle, apparently, we could be a much better D. Not top 20, but a hell of a group to go with the offense. I'm anxious to see how the next ones play out. I feel that our position coaches need to earn their pay within the next 12 games. Yes, I know we're young, but halfway through next year is all I can accept graciously with sideways arm tackling. We'd be better off if we tried to tackle like taking a charge in basketball. Just let the guy run into us and then grab on. Doing better, overall, but it's still not good. Constant improvement. Need to get after it!

GO TIGERS!!!!!

Now it's on to preparing for the Thursday game

I hope they do well with just five days between the two.
