Duke QB has entered the transfer portal, probably due to Elko leaving.
Riley enters the portal with a “no contact tag”.
This does not mean anything in my opinion. Just simply not wanting to get blown up.
Just like Bo Nix did.

Leonard is a 1st-2nd round in the draft QB. There’s no doubt.
Also, Leonard was not kicked off of his team or anything like that. And he had a legit reason because of his coach leaving.
This has got to be news that Dabo has been made aware of. I’d be surprised if no one has told him.
He’s a good kid and Elko did things the right way at Duke.
And we’ve lost Helms.
Let’s try it out.
Edit: anybody heard anything about a transfer QB?

I don't know for sure but I think you would risk Cade leaving if that happened and I don't see Dabo risking it.

and that makes A&M much better with just addition of Riley!
I like the kid, a real gamer. I hated seeing him get hurt against ND, it was terrible to see. Duke may have made a nice run this year if Riley stays healthy, but injuries happen.

yeah everyone including ND and Hartman thought he was the missing piece there. It ended up being a big nothing.

They loved and honored Hartman. And ND has not been great since Holtz's departure. Do not get the negativity.

Hartman got to play on a much bigger stage and against a much harder schedule by going to ND.
His shot at a NFL career is much better … had he performed on the big stage as he did on the small stage … by finishing his college career at ND.
I don’t think it worked for him; he did not take into account ND’s substandard receiving corp. Ironically, WF’s WR corp was much better than ND’s. In hindsight, Hartman would have been better served by staying at WF.

Just saw a post that lists Auburn and ND as the front runners. Just based on what the media has presented about Leonard, I was shocked to see Auburn as a favorite. Maybe he shares an affinity for the ladies of the night with Hugh Sleeze.

Indeed, zero chance that he comes to Clemson.
However, if R.Leonard did come to Clemson, then there’s a 99% chance that he’d earn the starter job IF IF IF he is / stays healthy.
Clemson would endure the loss of CK2; after all, CK2 would not be competing for the starting QB job again until 2025, at which point Vizz would be as ready as he is going to be.
Strictly from the potential for immediately returning us to the CFP, we would gladly accept R.Leonard if he wanted to come to Clemson.
That said, R.Leonard is not coming to Clemson. We can all relax.

and neither do you, but I know this: we have a starting QB, who will be returning. It's his job until somebody shows up and beats him out. We also have a highly regarded redshirt who will be competing for the starting job next year. If Riley comes here, he WILL have to compete for the job.
Now, for the opinion part: He will go somewhere he's gauranteed the job, and for that reason, he would not come to Clemson where he'd have to compete for it.

Honestly would have rather landed Antwan Hill in this class but Hebert is extremely well coached as a qb and imo will come in and push Vizzina, he's coached by Quincy Avery's camp(same camp that coached Watson). I think Hebert is the second best QB in his class and an exciting recruit to have on board.
