if i see that our D is a problem i wont be rosey about it just because we won.fact our D still has a long way to go.and if it doesnt get fixed we will be lucky to win 8 games.

#1, you do realize that is one of the toughest 3 or 4 games on the schedule, right?
#2, yes, I agree, there are issues to be addressed, but when it counted, they didn't get into the end zone.
#3, yards allowed is not the most important defensive stat--scoring defense is.
Job well done. B+ because of the score. Room for improvement? Absolutely.

Let's not forget that last year, our offense started kinda slow. Hopefully BV will get 'em rolling just like Morris did. No reason to junp yet. I think we can step away from the ledge and enjoy the evening.

ok. checked stats. O wasn't so bad. My mistake. But D early on was pretty bad in '11.
Crap I had forgotten that Wofford had 399 yards.
Troy had 423. TROY!!
AUB had 425 in 2011
Aub had 374 tonight. That is progress.

a team with the talent Allbarn has is going to get a few big gains. Bottom line, though, they couldn't get into the end zone when they needed to.
