which would be disappointing considering where we were and that we beat UGA. I've also seen us projected as a regional host.

The end of the season really hurt. Of course, we can change things by winning the ACC tournament. I'm not canceling my reservations in Clemson just yet.

Maybe I am missing something. Doesn't the women's softball tournament line up the same way as men's baseball. In other words how can a number 10 ranking lead to a 2 seed in Athens? We also have a 14 RPI.. unless they are planning on us losing like 8 games in the ACC tournament. Tell me what I am missing.

@Tigermaniac that would be a huge letdown to end up at another regional. Wasn't a month ago that everyone had us a shoe in for a super regional. We know the girls really keep up with it via social media.

I'm with others that the va tech series was a big slap in the face and wake-up call. So hopefully this long rest will help us reset. Rest and clear up some dings and bruises. I think we'll know more after tonight's game. Which we should win easily. Sadly a W tonight doesn't do anything for us. It may hurt our sos and rpi even more... although it is a neutral site game.

I don't think we need to win the tournament to host, but I do think it probably takes us playing and beating Duke... then maybe even a competitive game against fsu for title. I'm not sold on a national host even with the acc tournament title.

Oklahoma
OK st or Texas
Ucla
Washington /Stanford - possibly all 3
Tennessee and (one other from sec)
Northwestern - rpi
