In all truth, would you walk across the street to see this game if they were giving out free tickets? The lamecocks have only beaten the directional schools on their schedule and the weakest SEC teams. Clemson and UGa both showed them that they are not even on the level of a good junior college football program. Really, would you sit in the cold weather to watch that game?

If you live in Charlotte and have friends to go with, sure. I tend to learn more / see things I might normally miss when I've watched games with teams I'm not at all invested in.

This was the matchup I was hoping for. 2 teams with bad seasons going to a meaningless bowl but at least now there’s regional interest. The worst thing for a lesser bowl is to have 2 teams out of the region.

Heard UNC will have a ton of players sitting. If Howell is one of them gamecocks will win a ugly boring game, but if Howell is playing I believe he puts on a show to boost his stock.

I would not walk across the street and I surely wouldn't spend 75 minutes driving around the block (as we had to do in Sept) but if someone let me out at the gate I would go inside and probably stay til halftime -- when it would be easy to leave since the garnet portion of the crowd would have cleared already.
