without a doubt Len Bias was one of the greatest college basketball players I ever saw play at Littlejohn. I was able to see him play in the 80s and he could do it all. Great shooter, great rebounder, great ball handler, but what a sad day it was when he died of a cocaine overdose within 48 hours after being drafted by the Celtics. Just thinking about him playing on the same team as Larry bird for several years was incredible! He unfortunately ripped the Tigers up every time he played us.

This list would dominate the OP list. Those guys were good against their competition but wouldn't hold a candle to the ability of Wall, AD, Curry, Walker, Kyrie, Griffen etc... Best of all time is a big difference than best of their time.

Agreed. Jimmer was my time but I don't remember watching the older guys much in college. I'm only 26.

It don't get much better than AD or KD in college but okay. Magic was dang good I will give you that but them playing in your younger days does not mean they are better than today's athletes. Athletes are always improving.

Would suffice as All-Time college...in my opinion. Alcindor, Walton, Wilkes, Goodrich, Hazzard...Reggie Miller. I'd take those six any time.

After seeing the list of some posters here it should come as no surprise to anyone why CU is not a basketball school. Blake Griffin!! Lol Apparently there aren’t many CU fans that have a clue what talent really looks like so there is really no reason to try and provide a solid program here.

19 points 12 rebounds a game lol Took Oklahoma to the elite 8 his second year. I guess you never watched him play in college but he is also one of the top forwards in the NBA so please explain yourself.

He is considered top 10 of the 2000s by many people that have nothing to do with Clemson and know a lot more about basketball than you do.

Question is top 2 of all time. You said BG. Not too smart. You obviously do not know more about basketball than I do or my 10 year old daughter. She laughed at BG being mentioned as top 2 consideration. The fact you’re trying to defend that suggestion know makes it even better. BG isn’t top 2 at Oklahoma. Maybe watch some YouTube vids before posting about BG again.

I made up Top 2. Lol. However it does say all time. He’s not close to be in the conversation for that list. You don’t have to older than 26 to understand that.

So he is top 10 since 2000 but not one of the all time greats? I mean if we are talking top 5 or 10 all time maybe not but I was listing players I have watched in college and he is deff one of the best I have seen. Guys that played in the 60s and 70s could not compete with guys today. Sorry but that's the facts.

It just says top college players of all time. Blake Griffin is certainly one of the top college players in past 20 years. I'm 26 so those are the guys that come to mind. If you don't think BG is a top 10-20 player in the last 20 years than okay but many people who cover college basketball would disagree with you.

The OP had some great names, I’m 46 and in addition to his list I would add(in my time):
- Len Bias (flat out ridiculous athlete) - Tim Duncan (loved his game) - Grant Hill (so smooth) - Ralph Sampson (talking college)
The ACC was better when it was only 8 teams and you played everyone twice. Kids typically stayed all 4 years and there were real rivalries.
You would actually get to know the players.

MJ wasn't great until he turned pro? You must not have seen him play in college. Dude was amazing. Just had to play within that system.
While MJ was amazing, Bias was the greatest college player I ever saw. Shame he never made it to the pros. He was a man among boys, even in that era of the ACC.
Was lucky enough to see players like Bias, Branch, MJ, Smith, Perkins, Daugherty, Sampson, Carlisle, Dawkins, Alarie, Ferrell, Kenny Green, Bogues, Price, Salley, Whittenberg, Lowe, Bailey, Washburn, Webb and Charles play.
Plus the Grant twins and who can forget Jenkins, Marshall, McCants, Vinny Hamilton, and the irreplaceable Murray Jarmin. And then there was Clarke Bynum.
The year after I left (86-87) may have been the best Clemson team of all-time - but got knocked out in the first round by SMSU. Top-level talent and overall depth was never matched again. Liked 79-80 as well. I know 89-90 won the regular season ACC in a season where 2 ACC teams made the Final 4, but felt like 86-87 put together a stretch in season that was unmatched, though they poo'd in the ACC tourney and Big Dance.
Those were some amazing years for the ACC.
