Dayum, thass a good rock n roll song. Billy Gibbons

don't do much, but what he do is good. Hence, the lack of Daryl. He don't know squat about rock n roll, and he dang sure don't do it good.

Redneck rant....over.

Billy Gibbons is an exceptional guitarist.

He danged sure impressed Hendrix back in the day. Some of the sounds that Billy squeezes out of an axe are nothing short of incredible.

Why do we never really hear much from Dusty or Frank?***

Dusty and Frank are certainly good, but neither is

jaw-droppingly exceptional as a singular entity. Billy is special, as is ZZ Top as a collective. They've had their peaks and valleys as far as churning out songs over the years...did their 80s and 90s commercial phase, but some of their latest stuff that hasn't gotten radio play and only fans have picked up is actually quite interesting. They haven't matched the early intensity on record, but have never failed to deliver live.

I saw ZZ Top in concert a few years back.

They were touring with the Nuge. One of the better concerts I've been to.

Saw ZZ Topp at Charley B's Rancharena in 1973

This was before they hit it big with La Grange. You could tell even then they were the real deal. Have seen them several times since, including the tour where they had a longhorn steer on stage with them.
