his comeuppance with his HELMET OFF and not saying a word back. Then came out and did his job after this. Later, realizing there was no rush at all, he hesitated (probably was coached to do this), let the coverage go down, then hit a dribbler that kept rolling so their guy (the nation's best) couldn't pick it up and run like a jack rabbit on our marginal coverage team - a key field position play late in the game.

Not only did he not talk back, he didn't pout or sit there with a towel over his head. He got yelled at and he took it like a Tiger.

Which confirms that Dabo knew what he was doing. A good coach knows his players and knows what they need to get their head back in the game.

What Dabo initially did was fine and the right move. Physical mistakes happen, but mental mistakes shouldn't. At least not nearly as much, and deserve discipline.
Dabo was wrong however when he went back at Teasdale after NC scored the TD. It was several minutes later, and ridiculously unnecessary. The kid knew he screwed up right when it happen, and when Dabo chewed him rightfully the first time. The second time was just too much and Dabo needed to get a grip.

The mistake he made was a bad one, but he could have made a mistake to outkick his coverage at some point and give up a TD to Switzer and he wouldn't have taken nearly as harsh of criticism from the peanut gallery. One mistake and a number of very smart decisions and punts. I fully trust the kid moving forward.

Or told Pearman to tell Teasdall he was allowed on the flight back?
I like Pearman, but he sucks at the special teams and has for quite some time. If that's true, that's really bad.
