Klatt says we don't have DW

But says nothing about Bama not having, Foster, Williams, or Anderson. Their LBs this year are no where near as good. They have talent for sure but not the experience and toughness they had last year.

My gosh! We won 12 games this year by larger margins that we did in 2016.
Dang, I was sure Watson was still here.

I'm pretty sure Dexter Wilkins is still on the team

Or I might be confusing him with Christian Lawrence. Either way, I think we are fine.

I was watching the Herd yesterday, I can't believe this guy still believes that we can't compete without Deshaun. Has he not watched a single game this year? Deshaun wasn't the only person on our team that helped us win the natty last year. What would the game have been without Hunter Renfrow? Without Jordan Leggett and that incredible catch in the final drive? Without our incredible defense? But, It's what I expect from a guy like Joel Klatt. He said that we wouldn't stand a chance against Oklahoma in 2015. We all know how that went.

game vs Alabama, then followed that against the Greatest Defense Ever Fielded and surpassed his own Championship Game passing record in January of this year.
Clemson is apparently more different in Klatt's opinion than Alabama under similar circumstances where the 2 most recent match ups have been Tommy Bowdenesque, a play or 2 away. The head men being the same, teams come down to the Joes, what they are asked to accomplish & their execution in Klatt's scenario?
I imagine you know enough about the game to make a good or fair case, including numbers, to support why Klatt might feel that way?
A number of folks felt Clemson's volume undid Alabama on that January 2017 night. 99 plays is the most Saban has ever faced, it's a lot for any defense. I thought I saw a stat where Clemson scored 14 points in the first 80ish plays of the game and 21 points in the last 19 plays? Clemson came up 5 points short in 2016 and ran only 85 plays, still dropping 40 on Saban - DW4 dropping 420 through the air in '17, 405 in '16. KB2 has eclipsed 300 yards passing, but one time all year?
On average this year, Clemson has run 6 fewer plays per game, rushing % is at an all-time high under Scott & Elliott[and Clemson under theChad], which seems to feed more so into Alabama's perceived or real strength?
Whatever they[Klatt & the other opinioned] feel, just don't ever let those bastiches get you down CmoneyTiger as there so many ways to look at things with fair reasons to do so?
I like our Tigers, but we're different than before, you & others have seen this I'm sure. It will be interesting if Clemson attempts to out Saban Alabama in this game?
We've seen it this year, run the football, play dominant defense, be low risk with the ball[only 14 TOs thru 13 games] compared to 27 in 2015, 28 in 2016. A lot of folks here & elsewhere, bristled at lower scoring from our Tigers in 2017, losing how many ~2Hs as our OCs tanked it late in games, yet here little Clemson is, standing tall at #1 - top of the mountain for now.
It's the good stuff and hopefully only gets better by night's end, 1/1/18.

Exactly. This is not as good of a Bama team this year.

They are really good, but that was a great team that DW took down.

DW4 might not be on the field playing, but once a Tiger always a Tiger. Would not surprise me if hi is at the game.
