To be fair they are telling them they can come compete but won’t be guaranteed a starting spot at QB with sellers. I think they hope that Sellers is the man but want a backup just in case. While Beamer says he doesn’t promise that to anyone I think he’s fibbing a bit. He’s definitely selling playing time for those other positions. RB and WR for example.
