Just win baby. Fashion takes a back seat this time of year. Our Tigers really cannot afford a loss right now. Far to many waiting to say “I told you so”. I have a world of confidence in the Tiger coaching staff. I will be very surprised if our team doesn’t close this season out like a champion.

Personally, I say choose one or the other and live with it.

Either fully honor the Military Heritage tradition with all purple.

-or-

Fully honor the Championship Game tradition with all orange.

Do not (please!) break out the purple tops with orange pants in a silly compromise because it dishonors and dilutes both traditions.

...the other. It seems a purple/orange compromise might be the best way to go. He'll be attacked either way. Not honoring the military heritage, or not upholding the orange pants tradition. But he makes a bundle to figure it out and he will. And will probably explain his decision in postgame interviews with the class and reasoning he always does.

Neither has to give. Purple tops, Orange bottoms. Military Appreciation Day has been about purple, not necessarily all purple, so the homage there stays. It's also part of the tradition to orange pants it under Dabo when a championship is on the line, so there we go.
