To be honest, I came here last night and this morning wondering what sort of CBB knob polishing JK would produce for this most recent debacle. Didn't find anything, but I didn't look too hard. I just assumed it would be prominent, what with JK having been jumping up and down all year (every year) about how great CBB is.
The man himself said he coached poorly in the second half "some of that's on me." Ya think?!

His response was to post some article about Dickie V having CBB in his top 25 coaches of the year list or some such.
Nary a word about getting run out of the Dean Dome...yet again.

basketball program. Since we're a football school with a football fan mentality, we're not bright enough to see how successful Brownell has really been here. Until we're ready to outspend everyone else on coaching and facilities like we did to help overcome Dabo's lack of credentials and skills and boost him to glory like we did, we can just keep our ignorant mouths shut and sit back and appreciate how fortunate we really are to have a historic coach like Brad leading the way.
Face it, if Clemson fans weren't so lousy, Brad would have us competing for league and national titles routinely. Considering just how much he clearly overachieves every single season, this should be obvious.

I think Clemson University as a whole is "Brownelling". We are accepting this mediocrity, and as long as we do so, that is all we will continue to get, year after year. The occasional making of the NCAA tourney will continue to be the exception, not the rule.
