He makes some good points and he may be right.

But, the transfer portal doesn't exists in a vacuum and nobody knows how it's going to play out.
The current form is unsustainable.

If Dabo's way works I think we'll start to see evidence this season. If not, then Josh Pate will be able to say "I told you so" in December.

It's going to be interesting to see how the heavy portal teams rosters look this year and next year compared to Clemson. Dabo seems to be playing the long game.

Personally, I think he's ahead of the curve on this little Trainwreck.

I'm cautiously optimistic about those 2 position groups. Bet we see immediate improvement.

Not confident about WR. QB is a mystery as well.

I like our roster. On paper, we're as good or better than the 15-16 teams. We're probably more talented in few position groups to be honest. But the glaring lack of production in the passing game is KILLING the team.

I agree with you on Dabo being ahead of the curve. I think the main question is how early is he? Still in all of this, I still think Clemson mainly gets the guys they want, and the guys that want Clemson are the ones that come.

One factor alot of people do not take into consideration, the extra covid year players. I think this year there will be alot less 6th+ year guys on opposing teams, Clemson will be in a great position assuming guys develop and improve as needed.

Let’s not forget the roster doesn’t become fixed until after the spring portal closes. Clemson needs a few guys for depth not necessarily immediate starters. It may be the staff takes another shot at transfer players that would now have fewer options to find a new landing spot.
