... if a team has a couple of undesirable quadrant for losses then only way they can make it to NCAA tournament is to win the automatic bid for the conference. He's basically saying you can go 28 and two but so long as you have those two losses you will not be counted unless you win your conference tournament ,for example ,where the tournament is the determining factor in deciding the bid.

But he had us in his bracket earlier in the season when we were first in the ACC. By that point, those OOC losses had already happened. So why did he ever have us in his bracket is this is such a hard and fast rule? I think he’s full of shyatt.

That’s because, as first in the conference, we were the de facto automatic qualifier.
