That you struggle to watch movies/shows that they are in, even if they are small supporting roles?
I didn’t realize it until last night when I was watching “Reign Over Me”. (A pretty good movie that I had somehow missed.) I just don’t like Jada Pickett Smith anymore because of all the media nonsense. And if I’m being honest, I probably can’t do Will Smith movies anymore either.

tabloid life, to enjoy the movie. NOW, if the movie sucks, well, that's another story. Generally, movies that suck though, have actors and actresses who I don't like anyway if I happen to know their bag of tabloid fodder. Funny how that works. This is why I pay little attention to tabloid stuff. But the Will Smith fiasco was unavoidable. I can tell he's a good guy though.
Good people make good actors, they choose good movies, and do well. Bad people tend to provide more tabloid garbage, and seem to be in movies I don't like. Maybe it's subliminal, but I don't think so. And sometimes good people/actors change, that happens too, and the movies they pick show that. Eddie Murphy is a good example.
Short answer, I watch movies at face value regardless of who is acting. Oh, and I never watch award shows because they elevate actors above the movies. I know a lot of people who love certain actors and gravitate to their movies. I just gravitate to good movies and don't care who is acting in them.

Jada is a good pick for not wanting to watch anything she's in; she's also a terrible actor.
I really struggle with Jeff Goldblum; dude acts too weird and I think that's how he is.
Ryan Gosling. Seems like a legit ###### bag.
Amanda Siefried. I dunno. Seems really stupid.
Adam Sandler depending on the role; I love his classic movies but haven't been able to stomach much of his later stuff.
Also, I really dislike Common. This guy seems like the most pointless cameo and plays the same character each time. Some brooding tough guy. He just takes up space and I think he just gets roles because he's buddies with people. I think the only time I've ever seen him smile on screen is this new iPhone commercial.

Steve Buscemi--seems like a decent guy, but I can't get past the teeth. He should have played Hannibal Lecter instead of Anthony Hopkins.
That whole scene in Con Air with Buscemi singing He's Got the Whole World in His Hands is disturbing.
