was wearing the the #28 jersey. I took a look and thought...that is what I looked like the year I drove to Orlando for the Citrus Bowl versus California...Sad sack I was that day.

I think Franklin has done OK at PSU but the expectations are too high. Nobody is going to win a championship there. I hope they fire him and finally face up to this first hand.

Sure enough they can't beat Michigan or Ohio State, but that is to be expected.

That all said, there is no excuse for their flat bowl game performances.

The main problem is they can't get an above-average QB to go there. Until that happens, it will continue to be an uphill climb for that program.

Weird because he did above average at Vandy and then PSU backed the money truck up to his front door. Stanley Tucci will play him in a movie about football mediocrity
