Now that he decommitted from FSU and wants to play early they say he is as good at this point. He said early playing time is a factor but has uga as a top location with them landing a good back last cycle and the #1 rb this cycle seems he would have a better shot at seeing the field earlier at clemson. Since we missed on white and others waiting on white cook would be a huge get. Just a thought that we should go after him wanted to hear others opinion.

I don't think he has an offer from us. there have been some off the field issues.

Are you talking about me? I haven't followed him I don't know about off field issues and it was just a thought in this dead time of football. I'm not starting anything I just thought about it and wondered what other people thought about It. I could care less if we go after cook, i trust the staff on whoever they bring in.

No not you, I'm talking about Kobe. Not backing down from LBs getting in his face at the opening has turned into "off field issues". There's always an excuse for some people on here when we don't land top players.

Except if you look on any recruiting site Clemson is not listed as a team that has offered him, so clearly there's a reason for that.

I never followed him bc he has always been committed to fsu and figured that's where he would end up and knew he decommitted so just thought since we missed on white. But yea if he has character issues then staff won't touch him.

Every source I've heard from says CU staff wants nothing to do with his recruitment. Not totally sure if he's paying for the sins of his brother or not but that's the gist. I wish him well but we won't be offering.

Well guess I got my answer haha. Didn't know he had off field issues if so not type of players Dabo and staff go after and I love and respect them for that. We don't want you just bc your highly ranked and Dabo shows what happens when you get the high ranked and high character guys as well you win titles! And I used plural bc there are more to come!

Gosh almighty, James has no more off the field issues than the next recruit. Maybe like White he just doesn't want to attend WR U. Completely understandable....he's a RB. No sense slandering the young man.

Unless he just came out and said that straight up I'd still expect him to hold an offer from the defending champs and a school that had a commitment from his brother at one point.
For all we know Clemson reached out and he said "no thanks." I don't think we should slander the kid, but off the field issues or not, there's a reason somewhere, I'm sure.

Or he can attend the other thugs at UGA. I don't see anyone smearing the guy, but if a kid has issues, he has issues. Since when does UGA care if a kid has issues?

Good God you're like the Iraqi Info Minister.
Yeah, everything's hunkey-dorey with this guy, and that's exactly why Clemson still hasn't offered despite the fact that he's a 5-star and Clemson has no RB since the Dawgs bought, err, sorry, won the commitment of yet another 5-star RB over the defending national champs despite the additional hour of distance from home, the 8-5 record, vastly poorer grad rates, and the completely unproven no-name coaching staff you have going that's just now entering their second year.
Your current staff knows how to do one thing, and that's fire their six-shooters up in the air. It's attracting attention.
But we're RB U, you Dawgs like to claim. Yeah, right. Since 2000 UGA has put seven backs in the league. Clemson has put six. What you've really done is waste the talent and often the ACL's of some of the most talented RB's in the nation since time out of mind. And that was Mark Richt - whom you guys fired - anyway. This current coaching staff has had just one player - one! - drafted thus far, in the fifth round last year. What a track record.
But hey, don't trust my word, since I don't trust a word that comes out of your mouth. It's all right here...

was around cooks entourage in atlanta when dalvin was committed to us. knew that night cook would never be a tiger. stay as far away from that group as possible imho
