Now if Oklahoma loses to either OSU or TCU to finish the year, it doesn't matter if Clemson wins or loses close on Saturday, Clemson will get a BCS bid. (Yes, Clemson could be 10-2 with no proven wins and still get the bid!)
Clemson would likely finish #14 and there would be no other teams available for the last at-large because the top 13 would consist of only automatics and extra SEC teams.

True but a win on Saturday just takes this season to level we though was near impossible.

They've gotten a ton of national exposure this year and they would want to hype Collin Klein. It would be better for K-state to win and Oklahoma to lose.

I seem to recall Clemson dropping 7 spots after losing AT 5th ranked FSU. And FSU dropping 7 spots after losing to unranked NCSU.

bloodshed and peeps are already talking about possibly getting in even at 10-2.
All I've been trying to get through everyone's thick skulls is that if we win we are in because just through the meat grinder of games the next two weekends casualties will be all over the field.
There will be more casualties Saturday and even more next Saturday.

I guess I didn't realize that losing to the coots on Saturday was even an option. It's not to me. 
That BCS bowl don't mean chit if we lose to the coots. For me, I don't want us to go to a BCS bowl by "backing into it".
